Duty deferment on your behalf
We hold our own Duty Deferment account. If you have no facility of your own, we pay VAT and duties to HMRC on your behalf and invoice you afterwards, keeping your cash flow smooth.
Out of hours and weekend cover
Ferries do not stop in the evening and neither do we. Our 24-hour out-of-hours service means a customs expert is reachable any day of the week when a problem hits at the frontier.
Retrospective and urgent declarations
Vehicle stopped, declaration missing, goods held? We can usually complete a customs declaration within 2 hours of receiving complete, correct information, and we put retrospective declarations right quickly.
Safety & Security and ICS2
We handle Safety & Security declarations for EU imports into the UK and ICS2 declarations for goods moving through the EU, including the French ELO required when transiting France.

We prepare and lodge the declaration
Our team checks the commodity codes, values and licences, then submits the declaration through our direct link to the Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
You get the green light
We send you the documents your driver needs and confirm when the movement is cleared, usually within 2 hours.
Bounty Freight is accredited as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) by HMRC. AEO status recognises consistently high customs standards, which means fewer delays and fewer interventions for the freight we clear at Dover and every other UK port.
